Mevopur™ Healthcare Functional Additives
Mevopur™ healthcare functional additives help protect or enhance the performance of the polymers used in medical devices, diagnostics and pharmaceutical packaging, supporting your goal of delivering safe and reliable treatments. These additives are fully supported by regulatory testing to USP, EP and ISO standards and manufactured under EN:ISO13485 protocols that enable them to be evaluated in medical devices and pharmaceutical packaging applications.
Mevopur healthcare functional additives cover a wide range of functionalities such as friction reduction, gamma sterilization protection, UV protection for transparent packaging, radiopacity, reduction of static build-up, and clarifying of transparent applications. Additive solutions that support more sustainability are also available. Examples are additives for ink-free laser marking and adhesive-free laser welding assembly, chemical foaming agents for reduced material use, and solutions based on bio-polymers.
These functional additives are available as ready-to-use additive formulations, additive concentrates, or combination solutions where the additive functionality is included with the desired color in a concentrate or ready-to-use formulation for convenience.
